The new free waiting area at Milan Malpensa Airport is a convenient and comfortable solution for those who need to accompany or pick up passengers from our airport.
Location
The area is strategically and centrally located between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, as shown on the map below.
Waiting times
You can wait for up to 60 minutes for a flight arrival or departure with your car free of charge.
Usage rules
The area is open from Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day. Here are the main rules for using the area:
The maximum waiting time is 60 minutes. Vehicles will be removed if they exceed 60 minutes;
Do not leave the waiting area;
To get closer to the Terminal 1, you can use the Controlled Traffic Zone (15-minute area), which allows a maximum stop of 15 minutes, or the traffic in front of the terminal at Terminal 2.
Track your flight
Within the area, you can check the flight status by scanning a QR code. This allows you to stay updated on the flight's arrival or departure time.
