Prohibitions, dimensions and guidelines in case of loss
The baggage regulations section provides clear guidelines and information to ensure safety and compliance during your travel to and from Milan Malpensa airports. We recommend that you consult the baggage regulations directly from the relevant airline's website.
For safety reasons, certain categories of items are not allowed on flights, including toy weapons, cutlery, knives, and other potentially dangerous tools.
In addition, you will find information on the allowable size of carry-on luggage, with helpful tips on handling in case of loss. For most airlines, the weight of hand luggage must be less than 5 kg. Should you lose your luggage or suffer damage, it is essential to follow the procedures outlined. Affix a tag with your personal details to your luggage and, in case of loss, contact your airline's Lost & Found office, located in the customs area of the air terminal, to initiate the lost luggage file. You will be provided with a Property Irregular Report (PIR) form to facilitate the process.
FOR SECURITY REASONS, SOME ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON FLIGHTS

You can leave liquids in containers of under 100ml and electronic devices in your luggage.
