As regards the energy efficiency, people have intervened on the transport systems, with the installation of new and more efficient mobile sidewalks, mobile stairs and elevators in different points of the airport. Some environments, including the corridor arrivals, are renovated sati with particular attention to improving thermal insulation and energy performance. The new latest generation air conditioning plant will allow a 15% reduction in the energy used for conditioning and a reduction in CO2 emissions by approximately 8%.
Only on the reopening day there will be over 20 thousand Easyjet passengers who will pass from Terminal 2 traveling to and from the most loved destinations in Italy and Europe.
